Kenneth Vaughn birthed our company from the ground up. The company was established officially in 1969, by way business records, and foundationally growth and really began to make it's mark in 1972 by Kenneth Vaughn. He originally started the business and designed paving equipment that revolutionized the industry, bringing affordable paving project to families all around Denver NC, and expanding later into the entire area. 

Family Growth & Business Growth A Legacy is Born.

Kenneth wanted to build more than just a business—he wanted to create a family legacy. He began teaching his son, Marcellus, the trade at an early age, and Marcellus grew up working in the asphalt industry. Inspired by his father's dedication, he committed to passing that knowledge on to his own children. Today, the company remains a family-run operation led by Marcellus Vaughn, with a continued focus on preserving the family tradition while delivering honest, high-quality asphalt services to the community.

As the next generation steps into the family business, the tradition of hard work and dedication continues to grow. Marcellus followed the example set by his father by introducing his own children to the trade at an early age. Today, his daughter, Autumn, and son, Mitch, are actively involved in the company, learning the values, skills, and work ethic that have helped define the family for generations. With a strong foundation built on integrity, honesty, and pride in a job well done, they are preparing to carry the family legacy forward. As future generations become part of the business, the Vaughn family remains committed to preserving its hardworking traditions and serving the community with the same level of quality and care for many years to come.
